New Eelam

New Eelam, by Christopher Kulendran Thomas (London) in collaboration with Annika Kuhlmann (Berlin), is a long-term artwork in the form of a start-up—a real-estate technology company founded by the artist to develop a flexible, global housing subscription that aims to make homes as streamable as music or movies. Based on collective co-ownership rather than private property, it aims to rewire property relations through the luxury of communalism rather than of individual ownership.

Residencies - Tensta konsthall 1

As part of the EU project 4Cs: From Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture, Tensta konsthall starts a residency in Tensta. A two-bedroom guest apartment becomes the foundation for the artists, curators, writers and others participating in the residency program that contain both longer and shorter stays.

Passage Projects

Passage Projects is a conference in three parts reflecting on collectivity, translocal connections and situated knowledge. The conference takes its starting point from Taxingeplan, just outside Tensta konsthall.

The Silent University Language Café
