The new book "An Unfolding Vision" engages with the work of artist Rouzbeh Akhbari (b. 1992, Tehran) through speculative fiction where his work is considered through the eyes of a cyborg, Azadeh, in 2130. Akhbari, currently based in Maastricht, works with video installation and film. His work is research-driven and usually exists at the intersections of storytelling, critical architecture and human geography. His interventionist practice is situated within a postcolonial discourse that spans various geographies.
